Overview IDSC Pro- A Single Point Of Focus - No Compromise Toshiba's IDSC Pro Circuitry allows all Toshiba HDTV Compatible projection televisions to accept multiple video signals, including 480i, progressive scan 480p and high-definition 1080i, while maintaining a single opimum pont for lens focus. Lesser systems must choose a compromise focal point to compensate for the differences bwtween 480p and 1080i signals. This compromise is most evident when these signals are shown on a large projection display. IDSC Pro converts all 480p signals and below to 540p. Since 540p and 1080i share the same scan rate, a single focus point is established and focus compromise is eliminated. Orbital Movement-Moving Pictures Today's televisions and today's television pictures,come in different shapes and sizes. Sometimes the shape of your television is not going to be the same as the shape of the picture you want to watch. This difference usually results in black bars on the screen.
